This game is great, I love how ambitious they have been and it has paid off. The bar has been raised for Pokemon games. There is a great selection of Pokemon both new and old. I like the designs of the new Pokemon, a lot of unique ideas that haven't been done in the series before. There is also a great selection of Pokemon from past generations, I was spoilt for choice. There's so much to do and I spent nearly 15 hours just exploring and looking for new Pokemon. My only complaints are that I wish this was on a more powerful console, the game runs okay, sure there are lag spikes and the resolution isn't great but that's a limitation of the Switch, if it was on something that had more power then I don't think there would be much to dislike. The only other thing is that I wish the trainers and Gyms and the other story challenges and battles scaled with the player. That way you could truly do everything in any order you wanted. Other than that the game is great, I'd recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Pokemon or who enjoyed Pokemon Legends Arceus. This gives me a lot of hope for future Pokemon games once the hardware they are on is more powerful.
