Buck is a hero, and this version with Heston serves the book wella, unlike so many others that dodge the ending. Buck is a real devoted dog. Unfortunately the soundtrack is dodgy, at least the one I got, but the scenery is superb. It was really filmed on location and that helps. I recommend it.
