Everyone in this is is obnoxious, shallow and self-serving. If the series had made that the point, I could get behind it. Don't ask me to believe that the narcissistic little twit - completely devoid of any kind of empathy or emotional understanding - is acting in some way for the common good - or worse still - the Good of the Common People. It's gross.
