I initially liked the premise, but downhill after a few episodes. "Mattie Matlock" started out on a quest to bring justice for her daughter and other victims of opioid pharmaceuticals.
It devolved into a self-absorbed farce.
Acting is stilted and characters stereotyped.
Story lines are insulting.
I stayed watching for the first half hoping to bring the guilty parties to justice.
Now I just don't care.
Don't waste your time. If you want to know the end, just Google after the season ends.
