How does this show have so many positive reviews?? I love zombie movies/shows but this was definitely not my favorite. The storyline is all over the place! Is it a show about zombies or about fighting for the hierarchy? Oh why choose one when you can make it about both! Seriously, the zombies disappeared for at least 2 episodes while they were traveling from one village to another village but in a previous episode their main concern was how it would be harder to travel to further/richer villages because they’ve become outnumbered. Okay, TBH I don’t mind the 2 storylines if they had blended well together but it didn’t work well on Kingdom. There were too much standing around and not doing anything IMO. Nobody ever spoke their mind or ever shared their knowledge of things they discovered/events that were happening... Okay, Season 1 wasn’t as frustrating as Season 2.. it had a lot of potential from how the king contracted the disease first and the fight for the throne. I’m hopeful for Season 3 only coz Jun Ju-hyun might be in it. I absolutely love horror movies but I did not feel scared watching this at all. I felt sympathetic at times but I was more frustrated than terrified. I did enjoy the cinematography and the acting tho so I hope they turn this around in Season 3.
