Show Started slow but I have come to like it. For those of you who are wondering where it is filmed, it is in Canada in a small town around 180 miles north of Toronto called Parry Sound. It is actually very beautiful there with the scenery being top notch. I know this because we have a little cabin on the lake there. We actually saw the cast eating at a restaurant we were at called the Bistro, a small restaurant just under the railroad tracks. If you get a chance to eat there the food is great. Parry Sound is on Georgian Bay which is only a 4-5 hour boat ride to Michigan. It is the home of the famous Boston Bruin Bobby Orr, this is where he grew up. Population of approx 6500 people. Other scenes such as the lighthouse are by a restaurant called Gillies. Beautiful boating and tourist places all around Parry Sound. The signs and reference to Turtle Bay is just made up for the show. Would look forward to season 2. Cheers
