The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is alright, but the story and dialogue are incredibly lacklustre, there are no compelling conflicts, and the game just generally lacks any substance or intrigue.
Characters stand around idly in dialogue like awkward statues, often talking about the most boring and inconsequential things possible. It feels like the writers were writing the dialogue while HR watched over their shoulder, or worse, the writers themselves are from HR. I mean, why is there gender identity in a medieval fantasy? Are you serious? Gamers play fantasy games as an escape from reality; bringing modern issues into these games crushes the immersion for everyone, regardless of your values or political orientation.
