It's a sad yet terrifying movie to watch, however I don't understand why everyone's blaming the mother. She had a personality disorder and although she could've gotten help for her son, I understand how hard it must've been for her. Although the mother seemed to have not bonded with the baby, it just seems odd that the boy has always been out for her. However, I don't understand why no one is talking about the father. When the boy was younger and was giving a hard time to the mother, the father would not even notice or brush it off and say "he's just a boy", as if that's going to change the boy's behavior? He seemed out of the picture since all of this was going on under his nose. The movie is sad, however I think many people are missing the point.
