It's a horrible tragedy when someone is falsely accused no matter their religion, ethnicity, etc. The way the media, in general, can completely destroy an innocent person's life is sobering to say the least. Or the media can paint a false and dishonest picture of a people group to further their own prejudice. Yet, none of the creative team or show writers realized they're doing the very same thing they condemn? They are apart of the media and are parroting white christian men bad. The hypocrisy is blinding and outshines any message they wanted to convey. Considering what's been happening across the globe, this came off like performative activism rather than an actual story. I'm apolitical, but that doesn't mean I am not discerning to the machinations of the media. News flash story writers, movies and shows are a form of media. And for those who are uneducated about history, remember someone warned you. Hitler used the arts to spread his hate for the Jews. He used the "media" to corrupt the hearts of Germans...you've been warned. And for those who are pretending like this doesn't have all the makings of a progressive wet dream are deluding themselves. Yes, you're delusional if you believe this show has nothing to do with a political agenda. 🙄 And I refuse to take you seriously, because if you lie to yourself you will definitely lie to me.
