This movie looked very promising from the trailer but is in fact a hot mess. I was borderline bored. There wasn't enough character development for me and I found myself wondering why we (as a viewer) are supposed to care about Nicole Kidman character's suspect her husband was cheating other than to justify her own affiar. After about an hour of Nicole Kidman going Nancy Drew, I could care less about any other plot twists.

I only made it through 30 minutes of this movie and then had to walk out of the theatre. You can tell it was supposed to be funny, but I wasn't laughing. The style of humor wasn't for me.

I don't have any background knowledge of D&D, so as an outsider, I didn't understand any references. I could tell the movie was supposed to be funny, however I kept waiting to actually laugh. I gave up watching the movie about 40 minutes into it.

My grandmother would enjoy this movie.
