I think there are at least 2 different audiences for this “game” but Microsoft only considered one of them. Simmers are interested in realism. They want all of the switches to work, they are more interested in the process of getting of the ground and getting from point A to B as authentically as possible. Yes the scenery is important but not as important as the process. Honestly at 35K feet can’t see much anyway. On the other hand gamers just want to play the game they are interested in realism they just want to fly around and see things, they probably won’t be interested in 10 hour flight from Houston to Amsterdam. More of an instant gratification crowd. This really isn’t a simulator it is a game plain and simple, but then without all the add-ons so was FSX.
