Beautiful to watch the story unfold, the excavation revealing history but also character, dedication, honor and love. Fine cast; excellent score, careful design. Very good. I've watched it twice. Not perfect but certainly worth watching.

Green Book is charming and saucy at the same time. The early 60's era recreated on screen establishes the dynamics which give the 2 excellent characters room to explore their differences and then come to understand their common humanity. This is a fine, fine movie. It deserves the Best Picture Oscar, and Ali ' s Best Supporting win, though I can't understand why his role is considered "supporting" rather than "starring."
