Not a bad movie. Worth watching for some entertainment. I did have a few problems with the authenticity of the filming. They were pretty careless with what got in the film in the background. This is supposed to be in the 1920s and 30s and yet there are things from the '60s and 70's showing up in the movie. At 14 minutes into the film Valachi takes a header into the river in a car in Brooklyn and in the background are the Twin Towers. Twice in the movie he was driving on the road in a time correct car but driving next to him are cars from the 1960s and 70's. The first time it was just one car and it was kind of hard to see but the second time it was just ridiculous how many cars passed by that were from the 1960s. I guess it was low budget and they couldn't afford enough time correct cars or streets closed or a studio lot to film on. I found out to be pretty funny.

Enjoyable movie. Plot is ok but nothing special. Just a good vehicle for the action scenes. The acting is ok and Bob De Niro was his usual 👍. The car chase sences were excellent and seem to be the real star of the picture but I think there was a little to much of that. The other thing that I noticed is the frequency that the opposing characters ran into each other or were conveniently running across each at the most inopertune times for one of them. How often have you run into someone you are actually looking for especially in a big city.
