Putting the supremacist/antifa plot aside for a minute, there are so many logic lapses in this series! Such as, if Muncie is a fugitive (“hiding” in Times Square) why not shave off his very distinctive facial hair? And, as others have mentioned, why does he keep going headfirst into danger!danger! situations? It literally devolves into “Don’t go in the basement!” scenes, along with too much telegraphing of Things to Come. If you aren’t recovering from surgery, find something else to do; watch “Ozark,” maybe.
