Its a fun movie with a few subtle throwbacks to the original. The sound track is the only thing that holds it back from 5 stars. The first Twister was legendary, with larger than life characters. Its simply impossible to top, Bill, Dusty, and Joe. The original featured songs by rock 'n greats: Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Deep Purple. However, the new Twisters is still a wonderful 2 hour escape from reality. It's a great ride that "sucks" you into a familiar yet different story line, with a handful of unpredictable plot twists and turns.
