Horribly written book. The author tried to make it “gory” and “disgusting” to read as much as they could. Well, just putting descriptions of violence or maggots in a plot does not balance bad story writing. The only thing that managed to disgust me was the writing and the dialogue used to show interaction between the protagonists. Although it’s a novella and took me around 30 minutes to read, I would highly suggest no one waste their time on this. In the context of the story, I did something today to *not* deserve my eyes, and it was reading this book.
