Tonight on the show there was feature on Gaelic schools in Edinburgh. The reporter referred to the Gaelic language as the NATIVE LANGUAGE. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!! Gaelic , or Erse I.e. Irish was brought in by the Scots from Ireland. Gaelic never spoken by the whole of Scotland. It was the language of the highlander, who was regarded as a separate race by the population of central Scotland.
