I truly went into this movie so unprepared for what I was about learn. I am a 57 year old woman and it's sad that the only stories growing about that I learned about Black History was slavery and cotton fields, which came from my Grandparents and Parents. This movie was one of the most informative documentaries that I have ever watched. I learned a lot and it was so well put together. Everyone I mean everyone needs to watch this especially with the way the world is now. I was left angered, sad, hurt and concerned about the men in my life. My husband, my sons, my grandsons, my fathers, my cousins, my uncles, my friends. Great job Ava. Continue to open up the eyes of the world. Knowledge is Power.
