This was a joy. It didn't feel short. I enjoyed it from start to end. I love how the director jumps into the story immediately so that you're drawn in and your attention sticks. The director has done a great job! It's beautiful. It's important. It's funny. It's ridiculous. It's what the MCU should be!
Ms Marvel, Captain Marvel and PROFESSOR Marvel 😂teaming up feels very important but not overarching to the overall vibe of the MCU. It feels grounded but it's also happening across multiple places. It's this big story that's told in a very grounded way. Characters have perfect screen time. The fun bits are perfect. The important scenes are perfect. The interconnectedness we've loved Marvel for since Ironman has come back.
Iman Vellani needs to be the face of the MCU. Every geek, every fan, everyone relates to her reactions and she steals the show every time she's on screen. She was literally born for this!
I have one wish: this movie should've come a little sooner. So that more people felt the strong connection it has to the overall MCU story and universes. The long time periods between films is probably the reason people are fatigued. I'm excited for the future of the MCU! Especially after the embarrassment that was secret invasion.
Now to watching the final episode of Loki Season 2!
