Hands down one of the worst movies I have ever had the displeasure to watch. Apparently there is a book that I have not read and this movie definitely made me NOT want to read it. What was the point? The movie seems like some pretentious snob wanted everyone to feel stupid for “not understanding what it means.” It’s pointless, incredibly too long, and a waste of talent. I seriously cannot believe I watched the whole thing, thinking it was going to get better. I would quite literally have preferred to watch grass grow. Horrible.
