Some obvious political undertones but essentially a very good piece of science fiction. I really felt an attachment to the main character and his sad life. Most of the world were as cold and indifferent as the world they inhabited and the surprise were the indigenous inhabitants constantly referred to as aliens. I thought it was a very good film.
