Although skeptical at first since I am not too into documentaries that talk about weddings, after work I sat down to watch Nayantara : Beyond the Fairy Tale. I must say, it left me in tears and I wished I could see more. It truly is an inspiration for women to never settle and keep striving where you are independent and only marry for a partnership. If you're wondering what to do this weekend, I suggest you watch this one. It's heartwarming and beautiful to watch.

It's been a long time since I watched a really good animated movie, and I'm glad it was from DreamWorks. Movies like Inside Out 2 and The Boy and the Heron were released this year as well, but I must say The Wild Robot stood out to me. It evoked emotions for things I didn't know I had strong feelings about. The animation, from start to finish, is mesmerizing; you can't take your eyes off the screen. The attention to detail is clever and a treat for the eyes. The story is beautifully conveyed, simple yet effective, highlighting one of the most fundamental relationships that exist. The dialogue is relatable, and as an adult, you'll understand exactly what the characters are talking about. The chattering crowd fell silent and calm during the movie. It's a must-watch that soothes every part of your heart. You might get teary-eyed, like I did, or even bawl your eyes out. Initially, I was skeptical despite the beautiful trailer, worrying the story might not be strong enough. However, I was wrong. This is definitely a must-watch, especially for parents, children, and adults alike. Don't miss it on the big screen. I mean, I don't know why anybody would give it stars anything below than 5

If there are people who didn't think the movie met their expectations, I feel sorry for them. After having watched numerous prison break movies from Hollywood, I think Bollywood has done a commendable job with Jigra. When your neighbors in the theater start discussing the movie during the interval instead of munching on popcorn, you know it has caught the audience's attention. I have to admit, they have done a pretty good job. The sibling relationship is emotional and heartbreaking, providing a much-needed break from the clichéd sacrificial romance. These days, whereas Bollywood often starts well but tends to lag towards the end, with the end goal being to finish the movie as soon as possible, Jigra takes its time to deliver good storytelling. Alia has delivered a phenomenal performance with her acting, alongside Vedang, which instills a sense of empowerment. Vivek Gomber, who plays the antagonist beautifully, evokes hatred for the character - a beautiful sight to behold. Jigra is a promising movie, and if you're looking for something good to watch during the weekend, you should give this one a try.

I binge-watched the entire series in one sitting, eager to discover what made it so special. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. Kristen Bell and Adam Brody deliver outstanding performances, making their characters impossible not to love. Even the more challenging personalities avoid being one-dimensional, mirroring real life where flaws and imperfections coexist. This show taught me that it often takes experiencing unhealthy relationships to appreciate what truly matters. When you know what you want, the pieces fall into place with a little effort. The show's realistic approach resonated deeply, leaving a lasting impression.

I entered the theater with sky-high expectations to watch Joker: Folie À Deux, fueled by my enthusiasm for the original. The opening scenes impressed, but my excitement was short-lived. The first song caught me off guard, and as the musical numbers piled up, my disappointment grew. The film's potential was squandered by Joker and Harley Quinn's random, jarring musical interludes. It felt like Lady Gaga's involvement had dictated an excessive soundtrack, disrupting the narrative's flow. Serious moments were consistently undercut by the audience's collective groan: "Not another song!" As a fan of Heath Ledger and Jared Leto's Joker portrayals, this film sadly tarnished Joaquin Phoenix's promising iteration. The ending, though plausible in an alternate universe, left the audience underwhelmed. Despite my disappointment, Joaquin's captivating performance remained the film's redeeming factor. Unfortunately, Lady Gaga failed to meet my lofty expectations, especially after Margot Robbie's iconic Harley Quinn." Is it worth watching in the theaters? Not really.

Despite our fears of AI dominating our lives, this movie brings those nightmares to life in a chilling reality. With a refreshingly concise script, free from unnecessary drama, the film masterfully builds tension, leaving you craving more. The storytelling starts strong but falters slightly in the latter half, where a tighter narrative would have elevated the impact. Ananya's performance shines as she embodies her character with authenticity, evoking empathy and investing you in her fate. You can't help but root for her, anxiously hoping she remains unscathed. If you're looking for something good to watch over the weekend, and are into the tech savy, black mirror kinda genre, this one is a good watch.
