Loved the book. The friendships forged between Adam, Jimmy and Nellie that lasted a lifetime in the harsh desert and unforgiving terrain of the Australian outback was formidable. Appreciated the inclusion of the Afghan cameleers being a descendant of both Afghan and Aboriginal peoples from Coober Pedy and the South Australian outback. Adams Empire and Kalinda will always be in my top 5 books.
