Really great production and a really cool artistic direction RM is taking in this album. RM’s storybook-like narrative motivates the various instrumental changes and manages to tie a diverse 34 minutes together quite nicely. Even if you are familiar with RM’s work up until this point, “Right Person, Wrong Place” seeks to subtly surprise its listener. The biggest surprise of all being a Little Simz feature, whose additions are easily the best out of all the collaborations on the project; her verse makes the confusing nature of “Domodachi” intriguing enough to come back to.RM with this work has made clear that his passion lies with music and music first. His willingness to call out the music industry, speaks volumes about his passion and talent. BRAVO 👏
