A fantastic series, probably the best Star Wars TV so far.
This is a must see for Clone Wars and Rebels fans, but if you are not familar with those shows, your enjoyment of Ahsoka would be greatly enhanced by:
1. Watching Clone Wars, at least Season 5, and Season 7 (esp the last 4 episodes)
2. Watching Rebels (the entire season) OR at least Season 2 and Season 4 (Episodes 13 to 15)
3. Disney Plus has an "essentials" Ahsoka list. Try to go through them.
The main character in the series is still Ahsoka, but around her whirl quite a lot of other interesting characters, especially the two "Sith", who are new characters that have really grown on me.
Then there are the bots, and especially Huyang, who is also in Clone Wars, and who has really made a big impact on the show, providing humor and reason.
The sword fights (I refuse to call them saber fights) are significantly better than the ones in the prequels and other TV shows, and light years (literally) better than the fights in the original Star Wars from the 1970s. I am really enjoying them as they are imbued with REAL Japanese sword fighting techniques, and you can see it. More realistic and less boring in other words.
Go see it. Enjoy. They have already green-lit a second season so I am really looking forward to what happens then as well.
UPDATE:
Although the first couple episodes have started slow, the last 4 episodes have been superlative, starting with ep 4. This last one that just dropped (ep 7) continues the trend of fantastic fights and good storytelling.
ps. Love the Notis and their culture.
