We just loved this unique and fresh adaptation of Jane Austen’s Persuasion! Love the bits of humor and fresh approach. Really loved Dakota Johnson’s Miss Elliott. She was perfect down to her expressions and subtle chuckles, etc. Worth rewatching!!! Her father is wonderfully and wickedly conceited and vain, also her two sisters. And we love the closing song (Quietly Yours) and whole sound trackall full of beauty and angst. Interesting inclusion of the audience as Anne breaks the 4th wall by looking at us and includes us in her thoughts and asides.
