I really can't understand why so many people gave 5 stars to this series
I stopped watching the series at episode 9 because I got tired of having to skip half the scenes, which have nothing to do with politics or space
The series is two types of show at once: space & politics and... woke soap opera.
In the beginning, you start to like it for the plot. Every time it shows politics, NASA, or space you want to see more. But as the episodes progress, the series focuses on personal and LGBT stories
Don't get me wrong, at first it's cool to see NASA's challenge of taking someone without so much preparation into space due to politics (simplifying so as not to give spoilers hehe). But every episode repeats moral lessons about how women are despised and how homosexuals are persecuted... it ends up getting boring.
Without exaggeration, there are scenes of conversations lasting more than two minutes whose sole purpose is to convey the message "you have to prepare twice as much because you are a woman"
But not only that. The scenes with Aleida are very boring. Molly's husband is completely unnecessary. When that woman (I don't even remember her name and I don't even want to look for it) discovers a secret and decides not to divulge it, I was very sad. It could have given a much more political and interesting turn to the story
