Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I found this book unbearable to read and couldn’t finish it. Even as someone in healthcare the timeline and terminology of the book was difficult to follow. Random patient names would be thrown out in one liners such as “when he killed …” with no further back story. Discrepancies in the story would go unexplained. I thought this book had such potential considering it’s dramatic origins but was throughly disappointed.
