If I could give this show a negative review I would. The show isn’t funny, and hasn’t been for decades. I stopped watching in the early 2000s and only recently tuned in, when I found out it was still on the air. The political views are very left leaning and the supposed comedians push government propaganda in support of the NDP. It’s one thing to poke fun of politicians, it’s quite another to set out to mock/humiliate CANADIAN CITIZENS EXERCISING THEIR RIGHT TO PEACEFULLY PROTEST the government. For reference, I’m referring to the ridiculous sketch about the trucker convoy. The people mocked are tax payers who fund the CBC. Without us, there is no CBC!!! The federal court ruled that the government overstepped and invoked the Emergency Act illegally. By mocking these protesters the show is essentially celebrating authoritarianism. I now fully support defunding the CBC. I don’t want my tax dollars weaponized against Canadian citizens.
