I've read all of Iles books since 2016. Thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
Southern Man being the exception. Way too long. Became bored several times and thought about ditching the book but wanted to know Cage's & Annie's fate. Lengthy conversations added little, many could have been omitted.
After such a long awaited book release, sorely disappointed.

I loved reading this book. Coates is a gifted writer who had me enthralled in this story. As a white reader it helped me understand the "quality" of Black culture.

Whitehead is gifted writer. So good in fact I thought train and tunnels were real.
Cora character fully developed and real to me.
Highly recommend to all dedicated readers.
