The 1 star rating is only for Tarek. I’d give it more but his wife demolishes any decent rating. I’m not sure why she was put on the show but I cannot watch it due to Heathers voice, immaturity and awkwardness and lack of professionalism for a remodeling show. It gives a “Housewives” vibe. I watched 10 minutes of the first show then only five of the next. Maybe they need a third star(not the baby) but someone professional. Like watching the petals of a tulip fall off in fast forward mode while turning colorless.

I just stumbled on an episode via HGTV. What made me stop and watch was the crazy interior paint job being done in the bathroom which reminded me of a mural painted by a kindergartner. They then proceeded to the bedroom and started a crazy spiral homemade wood strip headboard which required a lot of staples into the wall. All I saw was my hair in that headboard and a dog chewing it and getting sick. The designers defense remark after it being questionable was… ”it’s art!’. Can’t he just take it down a few notches?? I think its great what they are doing. Do you reach out to find out what folks are interested in or is this a designer that just is all about showing himself? I would hope not.
