A fun sci-fi flick strong on action, but a bit weak on characterization. Great concepts about society and politics at the outset, but the execution is a bit off. The roles for the heroes seem fascinating at first, but then deteriorate into stereotypes, which is disappointing.

An interesting and well-shot yarn about UFOs and their cteepy intentions. But, it seems to rely on a rather pat externalization of human evil that, in the end, feels maudlin. I kept waiting for the scope to expand, to give a more meaningful insight into the why of depravity. But, instead, after the long setup, the story closes trivially. A disappointing finale to a an interesting scenario.
