The show was interesting but not informative. If you know bible history, you know there was a war in heaven and the arc angel Michael and other angels fought against Lucifer and his following angels and were cast down to earth. From Heaven God has sent many angels here on earth to aid humanity. Since constantly through out the show they said they could see or feel the light of the others and could visibly see them sucking the soul out of these people, that have the power to remove them from poor unsuspecting people at any time. I am going with fallen Angels and some maybe half angel and half human so the odds could be even in the fight. Fallen angels didnot want to share this earth with a lessor species, so their plan was to take over the whole planet and possible merge heaven with earth. i do wish this series would have made it because it had so much potential to be great with a writer that wasn't afraid of a challenge. Im not speaking of the comic book writers, all shows are rewritten by screen writers. fallen angels do not become demons, they are just the fallen. out cast i felt was referring to the outcome of a angel and human child could also be used to aid humanity but be hidden long enough until God was ready to reveal their existence. It seems there were three faction. the fallen who possessed humans and the human that fought possession and then there were the outcast whom i believe were half breeds with the powers of heaven on earth. Since this series kept you on your seat wondering what each characters purpose was. It was terrible to judge who was right our wrong or who's side was good or evil. I personally felt that the possessed were the fallen and wanted to destroy all of God's love which was mankind first and utmost. They felt the earth was theirs to live and do as they please with. I believe probably 6 seasons instead of 2 could have made a great and perfect show for a last and final battle against all three factions and would give everyone the ending they deserve with the fallen being destroyed without killing any of the people they had possessed. They would just be expelled just like when touched by ones who had the light, That would have given us clarity not so much confusion.I do wish someone like netflix to produce the rest of this story. It was too good to be just left hanging wondering about every character and their purpose in this war that is now on earth.
