Erich Rinne

This movie has two major problems for me. First it spends way too much time on Napoleon's relationship with his first wife to the point that it's half the movie. I honestly feel like this movie would be better if it replaced some of that runtime with another battle or maybe talking about his political reforms. Second this movie seems to go out of its way to make Napoleon, one of the greatest generals in history, look completely incompetent. It does this by focusing mostly on the battles he lost and less on the battles he won, Waterloo and the invasion of Russian, and having him make decisions motivated purely by his first wife. Napoleon Bonaparte deserved so much better than this
