This is extremely relatable. As a muslim who has trouble identifying with many traits of the West and also the muslim world, watching Ramy was very fun because I got to see myself and my family in the show. The dialogue and social situations were very interesting and often very realistic (stuff me and my family do or talk about all the time). It was smart, funny, I absolutely loved May Calamawy, Amr Waked, Mo Amer (and many more...).
And the music was some of the best I have ever heard in a show. I listen to Abdelhalim Hafez, Hamid Al Shaeri, Isam Hajali all the time, and to hear their songs on such a show was simply beautiful.
This is definitely worth watching, wether you are muslim, bahai or budhist.
