Polite Tia

I care nothing for any of the characters in “Pearl” If Ti West was going for a Hitchcock “Psycho” flare, this is a total miss. There was NO background on the protagonist, family, how the war/Pandemic affected the town, just thrown in bits of a slasher movie. Holding that camera on Mia Goth was painful! Not in an unsettling fashion. It only made ending the film excruciating for those who are determine to finish what they started viewing .
