I wasn't sure how I would feel about the animation in this but I didn't find it to be a negative at all. In fact, I felt like I was in 1966 Austin, looking at and listening to real people, who by magic, became young again. I found this movie to be absolutely riveting. On a final note, thank God that Charles Whitman didn't have an assault rifle.
