Dreadful and just plain silly. Preferred the previous version with Jim Sturgess and had really enjoyed the book, so was looking forward to this. But oh dear..... The acting awful and forced, the casting was equally dreadful. The one saving grace was Ambika Mod who was actually quite good. Essie Davis had the most laughable accent and was awkward. Who on earth gave this 5 stars? Only carried on watching for the music, but even that couldn't sustain me. Don't waste your time.

Awful - clunky dialogue, clumsy acting, unconvincing plotting. A complete waste of time. Switched off half way through the second episode.

Awful. Furthermore Owen Jones has absolutely no charisma. As such, this is highly unconvincing.

This was pretty awful and I'll never get the time back again.....Celine Dion has a beautiful voice, but she can't act. Indeed, most of the acting was dreadful, the exception being Priyanka Chopra and the actress who played Suzy, her sister. ( Sofia Barclay).They were a joy in an otherwise desperately dull and clunky film.

Just awful. Emma Thompson's role was so hammed up. I get that it was the character she was playing, but ugh. Totally forced and utterly predictable. Silly silly v obvious jokes....
