The book was a great read, a wonderful kick off to what should have been an even better adventure. HOWEVER, following book one (2007) was a 4 year wait for book two, released in 2011, which did not end the series. In 2013 Ruthfuss shared a picture of the manuscript for book three but nothing else. Here we are, on the edge of 2020 and still no book three (Door's of Stone). Nine years later and the editor (Betsy Wollheim) has not even laid eyes on any piece of book three. No, authors do not owe us books but we have a choice whether to start reading and supporting their work. If you have not read this book yet then I warn you, DO NOT as it will just end in an unfinished story that could have been great.
