George Panagakis

Good to very good adaptation. Seems to be influenced by Branagh's version of Henry V. The battle was well done, I would have preferred a resemblance or at least a small mention of the Bard's speach, but it still work's just fine. Might just be the first movie to not cut away at the time of a beheading. Difficult shoot, extremely well done.

Not a bad movie, great acting, terrific costumes. The 1971 version wins on everything though. They even dropped the sawing scene. I'd watch the old one instead of this, this one is too romantic to be shocking.
