Greetings! Countdown.
I've enjoyed & loved Countdown since day one. I've watched it with my Mother, my Children & my Grandchildren. In the last year or two it's become The Rachel Riley Show, my patience has come to an end. I don't want to know about either of her children, her Partner, her Siblings, any of her Relatives, MUFC, her Wardrobe, her School Friends, her Pets, her Habits, her Likes or Dislikes or her opinion on Players or their methods of playing or their Tactics. When Anne Robinson arrived I tried to stay interested. After a few weeks I just couldn't tolerate any more of it. Unfortunately, for me the pair of them killed my love of the programme so I stopped watching. My Family couldn't believe this. It only took me about three or four days to realise I wouldn't be able to survive without watching it. What I do now is put the television on mute when either of them speak. Also, if you turn on Channel 4 at the start of airing about ten minutes after the programme starts I can fast forward or rewind over both of their opinions. I enjoy hearing a bit about the Contestants but it can be a touch insulting & possibly abrupt how Anne deals with the Contestants. I could listen to Susie Dent all day. 99.9 % of Dictionary Corner's Guests are Great. Some things in life are perfect but I don't expect Countdown to be 100% I certainly enjoy trying to find little flaws but then don't we all. So for now I'm on Silent Running Mode but at least I'm still enjoying my favourite TV show. Finally, regarding Gyles I do believe he would make a Fabulous Presenter.
So for now,
Stay Safe.
