So poorly written but given 2 stars because I only made it half way through before I just couldn't take how bad the writing was anymore. But, you know, maybe the second half is better? Interesting subject matter shouldn't and doesn't make up for bad writing. Conversation are described, not shown. Places are visited for no reason other than to provide shock value. Characters have no depth and frequently do the same simple thing over and over so the writer can describe a new "horror" without a new way to introduce it. "He shook his head slowly so he didn't have to remember the bad thing. This bad thing" but isn't he driving? Or are we in the shower like last time? Or in the living room like the time before that? Ugh. I wanted this to be good so so bad that I pushed through but it just wasn't worth it.
