Alec Baldwin steals the show. His way of conveying facial expressions portrays the mood of the scene. He uses a broad range of looks, each one is a surprise. Some so unique that you wonder how he pulled it off, yet knowing you have seen that particular expression somewhere. Their skill in acting in love scenes evokes romantic feelings as if you were the one in the scene. Meryl Streep does a fabulous job of playing the ex wife and compliments the relationship in a way that helps Alec Baldwin shine. It is a great mood lifter. I just watched it three days in a row. Best romantic comedy ever.

Julia delivers an excellent performance. Movie is not funny. The movie is monotone with no inflections in speech. There is no joy in the characters, thus it left me a bit down. The story line is good. Julia as a writer seeks approval from her husband on her recent book and is stunned to find out that he really didn’t like it, which affects her sense of competency.

I thought this movie was fantastic. Great to see Ben Affleck and Matt Damon together again. Both did an excellent job. The soundtrack was wonderful. Great songs that you liked and remembered from that period. Matt Damon takes up the almost impossible task of signing up Michael Jordan to endorse Nike. Damon’s gut belief that this was the right move for Nike, and he meets with a lot of resistance in his company. But he continues to push forward until he makes the deal. Nike makes a shoe for Michael Jordan and calls it “Air Jordan”. It becomes a huge success, making millions of dollars. Viola Davis plays a savvy business woman and is instrumental in the huge success of the venture. A must see.

Excellent and top billing actors; Cate Blanchette, Greg Kinnear, Katie Holmes, Keanu Reeves, Hillary Swank, JK Simmons. Interesting to see them from a movie 20 years ago. No dull moments, holds your attention. Scary, and complicated plot. Loved Cate Blanchett as the psychic. I did not know about the movie, but it’s a winner and sorry I missed it when released.
