Two mind blowing good looking artists come together to create a piece of excellence.
Chris Evans the oh so dashing uncle and McKenna Grace as the Math prodigy niece are the perfect cast for a story which deals with difficulties of raising higher ability children .
His love for her, his guilt towards his sister ,his flawed relationship with his powerful mother are all woven so aesthetically in the fabric of the script .
The scenes where McKenna fights for her classmate ,where she jumps with joy at the hospital and the way she controls her emotions are just done so organically that you feel like reaching out to her and give her a hug .
This movie also throws light on the hollowness and shallowness of certain relationships even if they are as pure as a parent child one .
Chris endears you not just with his looks but also his character in the movie as the most caring uncle who wants to give a normal childhood to his super gifted niece .
The one eyed cat 🐈⬛ adds the spice and humour .
Jenny Slate as the sensitive teacher portrays her role with finesse.
Not to forget Octavia Spencer as the loving affectionate neighbour is what every neighbour or care giver should aspire to be .
It’s a lesson on parenting it’s a lesson on human empathy it’s a lesson on pure unconditional love between an uncle and his niece ,a relationship which is mostly not delved in and explored much in the movie business .
I loved every bit of watching it .
