Incredible show. I've never watched a star wars show or movie and been as moved as I was with Andor. The show adds faces and humanizes both the empire and the rebellion. Showing the gritty on the ground detail that we've never seen before. The show isn't about lightsabers and massive battles, it's about that side of star wars we've never really seen, that small scale boots on the ground perspective. Highly recommend it and I really hope they make more star wars like this in the future. Ps for all of the 1 star posts of people saying it's to slow. This is not a very slow show! And the stakes are so high that your on the edge of your seat. Yall gotta get off ticktock because your brains must be fried!

In my opinion, the writing held back what could have been a pretty cool show. The acting was decent across most of the actors, Sara Martin I think was particularly good and Iwan Rheon fit his role well, and it was cool seeing him play something different from what we all know him for. Overall the actors for the most part did the best they could off a pretty bad script. The smaller scenes were well shot but the cgi on the big scenes was not up to the quality of the rest of the visuals. It would pull me out of the show each time they entered the racing arena, or when the lion was on the screen, particularly in the arena. I get that CGI is very difficult to get right but it was really just a cut below the quality of the rest of the production. While the acting was pretty good and the visuals were solid outside the larger set scenes the writing was really not up to par. Some characters had cool concepts but the writing was so cheesy, you could see everything coming from a mile away, but most importantly characters were making poor and irrational decisions based on there goals in order to add drama but the drama never felt real because it was so irrationally produced. We didn't need a big "cliff hanger" at the end of every episode and trying to jam that much in totally took away from in particular the secondary characters archs because they would be so flip floppy. Anyways cool idea, but was ultimately not that exciting because I was never really invested

Phew what a stinker! It is basically gladiator remade, only everything is worse. And the movie tries so hard to constantly pull you in with references from the first movie but it just feels weird. I don't think this movie should have been made

In my opinion this is the best show I've ever seen. I love the classics like breaking bad and GOT. But this show is so good and doesn't fall into the pitfall that they do. It's well written, the characters are spectacular and it cuts to the chase! It's a crazy time when a video company makes better shows than Hollywood and the established production companies.

The show feels rushed and is incredibly predictable and uninspiring. Characters have little depth and poor character arcs. Overall it's a good looking show with a below average story. I really hope Amazon doesn't rush the lord of the rings show like this.

15 million dollar budget to cure insomnia, pretty impressive if you ask me.
