Living near to Middletown, I loved this movie! I watched it twice to capture it all ...... from the thriving steel mill that recruited the Appalachian workforce and then left them jobless, the craziness of hopelessness and addiction within a family, and the hope for a child's future that can be realized with education and the attention of one strong adult. Amy Adams and Glenn Close are extraordinary!
