Billy Sheppard

It is a horror movie. It has terrific actors. It is bleak. The world has demons, but not much to believe in. These actors could hold my attention playing checkers. But the plot is weak, implausible, and unredeeming.

This show is sometimes cute but constantly contrived. I can hear the chatter in the writers bullpen prescribing twist after twist in this comic soap doctor drama. There are far too many family ties to work without enslaught after enslaught of deeply suspended disbelief. Instead of watching this, I suggest staring at a mirror and insulting your own intelligence for an hour pausing only to sell yourself some useless late-night bargain trash. Two points because it is pretty.
