I’d give this book 3/5. I definitely didn’t love it, and by the last third I was reading just to finish. I thought the main character lacked depth and personality. But, I can see why it has stayed #1 and would put it on the same level as a cheesy Nicholas Sparks novel. Somewhat interesting romance with a dead character thrown in, but lacking depth or any truly creative story telling.
