This was such a roller-coaster ride! The early episodes are your tragic/romance love story, and I get it, it starts out confusing, but believe me everything aligns itself smoothly in the end. Then you have the middle part: light-hearted, funny, and sweet. The last few episodes get really dark, and you'll feel like you're watching a thriller/suspense at this point. It's sooo mindblowing to learn all the twists. I haven't seen a series with so many surprises and twists, except maybe Mouse, but it's so worth the watch! I'm not sure why some people didn't like the ending. For me it was the most sensible, perfect end to the drama. I don't feel it was sad at all. It was like the start of something beautiful, and they've left the rest to the audience's imagination. Well-acted, well-executed, beautiful cinematography. This was a solid 10/10!

A blatant and unimaginative rip off of The Handmaiden, one of the greatest films in Korean cinema. The lesbian love story, the "sexual cult," even Park Chan Wook's use of "chapters"---shameless, really. My one star is for the acting performance of both Allison Williams and Logan Browning. Other than that, there is nothing else to commend about this movie.
