I have read a lot of mixed reviews after I had watched this film . I personally thought it was really good . I don't think when Gore wanted the audience to understand what the story was, but wanted the audience to go on a mysterious and unsettling ride, and it was very unsettling indeed. It's a long film but the cinematography is like nothing ive seen before, it is so well shot . Some scenes were disturbing and quite distasteful in parts, but nevertheless I was gripped. Even though there are no scary jumps , some scenes I found really gut wrenching, you need a strong stomach to watch this film, and a strong drink after it.

Not sure what to make of it. I found it moving in some parts, a bit strange and disturbing in other parts and a bit daft. Would like to of known a bit more about the Amphibian Man. I thought the violence should of been toned down a bit, didn't like it. Still can't make my mind up about it.
